As a student in CSULB Design’s 5-year Bachelor of Fine Arts program in Interior Design, I produced my senior thesis project and completed the program.

The requirements for the project included:

• Define a thesis project on the basis of a social, economic, or environmental issue that I’m passionate about

• Research and develop a project program

• Design the project within an existing building located in an appropriate urban context, around 13,000 s.f. - 15,000 s.f.

• Prepare a detailed feasibility study with research, case studies, and interviews

• Produce an interior design solution to be displayed in a booklet, 4’x6’ presentation board, physical material board, and final model

• Present my project to a panel of professional mentors

• Display my project at the university’s Professional Night, an evening for working professionals in the industry to meet and greet students and see our thesis projects
